Bury me in the Ocean.

Bury me in the ocean where no tribe claims ownership

Where the ashes of cremated spies like Osama congregate

And the bones of victims of Cyclones Idai and Freddy clutter.

Ask me not for the means; for where there is the will a way will be-

Even if you were to cremate my soul to dust the sea waters with

I would be happier than letting my ashes heap on the barren ground,

Or else you will transport my bones and flesh to the moon or mars,

For I hate this earth where thieves and murderers thrive.

In the oceans lie great minds that perished while navigating the rivers of Africa

And some sacrificial lambs of the climate change ogre sweeping across Asia and Europe

And more still those long swept beneath the waters when the Titanic vessel sank.

Titanic Vessel — Wikipedia

That remind us every day we see them of our vulnerabilities

And the future waiting for us if we do not act against the world’s nuclear threats,

And the horrors of war initiated by war mongers and power mongers and sadists.
